Creating your Display

Make your messages relevant, influential and effective
The content of your Display is extremely important; you want to captivate your audience and ultimately, influence them.
Here are some things to consider when putting your display together:
- Who is your audience? How can you best attract their attention?
- Does your audience change at different times of the day/week/month?

Creating and Saving your Displays in JPEG format
Digital Displays read JPEG image files, so you need to save your displays in this format. There are many ways of doing this:
You can download software from the internet for free or for a small charge. We have put a list software that we think works well on the About Us and Useful Links page.
There are many graphics software packages available that allow you to create your displays and save or export them to JPEG files. For example, Coreldraw, Illustrator, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop etc. Simple photo editing packages starting from around £10 are also suitable. Look for software that allows you to combine images, add text and save as JPEG.
MS PowerPoint is very easy to use and create displays with by simply adding backgrounds, text and images. Just click “Save as type” and select “JPEG” to save in the right format.
